Colour Challenge

I have had a great weekend... baking, classes and my craft room has had a change around.. and I didn't lift a finger for that one!! Marise came around, took over... and hey presto.. I have an awesome set up... for two people to happily stamp away... of course the second table is for Marise!!!

Here is my take on the colour combo... I liked it that much that I have done a second card... but you will have to wait for that tomorrow night.... such a tease!!

Season of Joy

I think my darling children have been into my stamp sets... how do I know this??? It took me until posting this that I thought,,, hang on this stamp set isn't called Feastive Favourites!!! Grrrrr Yes they have swapped some stamps around in different containers!!! This is one of the cards we are doing tonight and tomorrow..
And for those of you that have emailed and asked how dad is... he got released last Friday.... fell over on Monday.. back in hospital again with two fractured ribs... it seems that he has lack of oxygen in his blood.. hence dizzy spells.. which led to him falling... although I personally didn't think he was well enough to be discharged in the first place.. he can't even shower himself....... so for now he is in the best place...!

Christmas

No Abba tonight!! just the sound of me in a panic, trying to do ten things at once. I love the first card, it turned out fantastic, but I think the second card still needs some work!! Bit plain for my liking..

Anyone wanting blog candy??? Well pop over to Lou's blog... but be sure to read the rules first. I was going to do the candy thing too after hitting 10.000 but have decided to keep you all waiting just another 4 weeks... I promise I will have lots of goodies from SENZ for some lucky person.

Bottom of the heap!! Mamma Mia!!!!!!!

Two quick cards, I love the colours in the first card... mind you... any colour goes with Choc. Chip. Second is a Bella card I did ages ago. Sorry not very imaginative this time ..
Have projects coming out my ears... wedding invite samples to sort out for a local, cards to make and cut out for this weekends classes, workshops and now I somehow agreed to make a car for the Grease Lightening dance concert for the end of the year!!! Too many things.. not enough time! Will take some photos over next few days..

Oh and did I forget to mention that I went to see Mamma Mia for the 3rd time yesterday... and also.. guess what is playing in the background... Dancing queen!!! (closet Abba fan!! and never knew it, go figure!!)
"You can dance... you can jive .. having the time of your life Ooh...." Pierce Brosnan is even starting to sound good!!!!

Must fly.. dishes to do, school lunches to make, cards to create and Abba singing to be done!!!!

What to do with left overs???

Instead of putting any left over card packs in a pile "to be done when I get time" I have decided to be proactive and make them up before I put things away from a busy class. This way I get to play without too much thinking and I get the added bonus of having new cards every month for Waverley market!!

Ahoy Matey

Well I admit it.. I struggled with this weeks colour throwdown challenge.. mainly because we don't have Kiwi Kiss and Baja Breeze, and also because I didn't have my mojo with me!!!
I don't like this card at all, so today I am off to see Mamma Mia with the kids again at the movies, then hopefully I might be able to create something worth while to blog .

Bloomin' with Beauty / Baroque Mofits

First picture is my prize from Paper Pesto. Thanks to Kate an co for such an awesome nz site. They have monthly kits for sale, Friday freebies to enter... go check them out. I can't wait to have some time to play with these freebies. I won these things in a random draw for a scrapbook layout challenge.

The card I created is for Colour Throwndown Challenge No. 8 from last week!! Yes I am running behind a week. At first I struggled with these colours (Old Olive, Certain Celery and Cameo Coral) together, but I loved them once I got started and even did a second card which I will share for you tomorrow

The Wylde Women Award

I was awarded this award by Michelle, who is a very talented SU Demo in New Plymouth. I don't often get awards an when I do it leaves me all warm and fuzzy!!! Go and check out Michelle's blog to see how fantastic she is... Thanks Michelle.

Here are the Rules:-

1. You can give it to 1 or 100 or any number in between - it's up to you.

Make sure you link their site on this post.

2. Link back to this blog.

3. Remember the purpose of this award:

To send love and acknowledgment to women who brighten your day, teach you new things and live their lives fully with generosity and joy.

I would for sure give it to all my downline because they are all wonderful people inside and out, but only two of them have blogs, Lou and Chloe. Would also like to give it to LeAnne and Joani... here's why....

Lou - Stampin' Up! is responsible for myself and Lou meeting about 1 1/2 yrs ago.. and she has become one of my closest friends. Not only is she a very talented stamping/scrapbooking chick, she is also one of the most loyal, funny, understanding friends I know.

Chloe - another talented lady, who always seems to have so much energy and time for markets, workshops, two blogs and a beautiful baby.. oh and did I forget to mention that she also works!!!

Leanne -I find myself always checking in on her blog and seeing what wonderful creations she has been doing, I also have a few cards she has sent over which are now on display in my craft room from her. She is such a warm and caring person.. just wish she wasn't so far away!!! Oh and I almost forgot.. she is also one of the fantastic ladies who challenges us on the "color throwdown challenge" website

Joani - One of the remaining SBS6 sisters I constantly keep in touch with. I also have received a few cards from this talented lady "just because". Another one who is so far away!!!
